The sultry sun back-lights the trees,
so the colorslide leaves douse
our town in
ruddy radiance.
All life burns with the same cellular glow.
The beams thrum through
biotic kaleidoscopes.
Plasmic pulses promiscuously
ignite flora, fauna, protozoa,
and the soft
swirling shell
of your ear.
