Wormholes

I do not trust my limbs enough
to ride a city bike.
When it comes to balance,
imagine
I’m an astronaut—
not the type
pirouetting around the ISS,
more like the type
returning from deep space exploration,
atrophied by zero grav
and a sci-fi flight duration.
I know, I know—
cycling saves so much time—
can even halve a commute!
Well, the same can be said
for wormholes,
and I wouldn’t take that risk—
would you?
